More than 25 football fields fit into the area of the Nuremberg city park. So there is enough space for relaxation on the loungers, games and sports or walks in the secluded garden courtyards. When children and fresh air lovers have gone home in the evening, Nuremberg residents come to PARKS. A perfectly mixed drink under the palm trees by the lake will transport you straight to your holiday in a matter of seconds.

The main attraction is the famous Neptune Fountain, which, after an eventful fate, stands in the Nuremberg city park. All that remains of the monument park created after the founding of the German Empire is the Schiller monument and two mighty marble vases, erected as a reminder of the singing festivals in the city park. Since 1954, a bronze faun teasing a frog has stood hidden in one of the garden courtyards.
