Very cool! Just a few meters out of town and you go down to the waterfalls, first over serpentines, then stairs and metal ladders. You can avoid the ladders at the Schleifenbach waterfalls (for example with dogs) by starting in Blumberg on the other side of the stream!

The Schleifenbach waterfalls are a by-product of the river diversion of the Wutach. The Schleifenbach forms three waterfalls in a row. The Schleifenbach flows against the direction of flow of the former Feldberg-Danube, namely from east to west. On his short run to the mouth of the Wutach, he cuts layers of rock from the Brown and Black Jura. The second stage of the Schluchtensteig leads past the Schleifenbach waterfalls.
