Seehof, in a secluded natural setting, would hardly be known if the family business of the Krappmann family hadn't existed for around five decades. Everything there revolves around the wonderful world of fish. For this, people from near and far come to enjoy the delicious fish specialties. From May to September you can dine in the fish garden when the weather is nice. In a small wooden hut directly on the water, the employees of the Krappmann family prepare fine fish specialties: from "classics" baked in beer batter to grilled char fillet with Mediterranean vegetables and seasonal dishes from the pond and the sea.

It all started with a carp in the parental laundry room in Lichtenfels.
Fishing was Dieter's passion.
He kept his catch in his mother's washtub.

Putting his heart above reason, he quit his job and started a business in an industry he knew little about.
