Herdorf is a town in the Hellertal, north of Daaden in the Altenkirchen district (Westerwald) in Rhineland-Palatinate. In addition to the Hohenseelbachskopf, the side knoll of the Hohenseelbachskopf [Mahlscheid] on the Herdorf side, which is also located on the border, is one of the highest elevations 508 m in the local area.
