The castle Lichtenberg, also called "Heinrichsburg", is the ruin of a hilltop castle from the 12th century in the Lichtenbergen (northwest part of the Salzgitter ridge) near Salzgitter in Lower Saxony. Their remnants are south or above Salzgitter-Lichtenberg on the steep hilltop of Burgberg (241 m). a beautiful destination for a rest in the old castle ruins.
