    The Geopark information and visitor center is located in the old mill in Groß-Ziethen. Here young and old can learn everything about the last Ice Age and how it created the landscape of the Uckermark. Appropriately for the Ice Age, a large mammoth model is in front of the door.

        In front of the center, a life-size mammoth model welcomes visitors - a great photo opportunity! In the center itself there are many interesting insights into the formation of the region. The nearby Grumsin beech forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is perfect for subsequent hikes.

        The opening times are from April to October, Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are special offers for families, and a small snack bar and parking spaces are also available.
