A dedicated themed trail on Lake Biel takes visitors on an exciting journey through Dürrenmatt's life. The five kilometer long path begins either at the valley station of the “Vinifuni” funicular in Ligerz or at the bus stop at its mountain station in Prêles. The 13 interactive posts each highlight a different facet of the artist Dürenmatt and it quickly becomes clear that he was not only the well-known Swiss author, but also had many other exciting sides.
