    ARTWORK: VISIONARIES IN ANCIENT WALLS
    This artwork represents the preservation of creation through the use of renewable energies. At its center is the germ of life, the spark of creation. A bronze sculpture depicting a living being in an early stage of development. Vulnerable yet powerful at the same time. This symbol of life is protected and flanked by four stainless steel wings, aligned with the four cardinal directions. Each wing represents a form of energy generation: water, biomass, wind, and sun. Energy is symbolized by the movement of small rotating metal leaves. The metal leaves are covered with gold leaf, platinum leaf, and silicon foil. The reflection in the sunlight and the movement ignited by the air currents create an attractive wind chime. Spiritual energy becomes material energy.

      The Hirschwald Nature Park set up an art hiking station in each of its eight member municipalities between 2013 and 2016. These serve as a resting place, a source of information and show modern art that is always related to the respective municipality.
