This wild camping site marks the boundary of the Camp Management Zone, an area along Loch Lomond where wild camping is illegal.
You'll find some beautiful flat spots here to pitch your tent, some even on the beach itself.
You can have a fire here and there should be plenty of driftwood and dead wood to use, but please follow the Leave No Trace principle and ensure it is fully out and cleared away before you leave.
A little behind Rowardennan the camping management zone is over and you can camp wild again. There are some good spots along the lakeshore along the West Highland Way.
