Somewhat hidden within the flat-wave Lüneburg Heath, in the Harburg Mountains, the Hasselbrack is the highest natural elevation in Hamburg with an astonishing 116.2 m above sea level. NN.

The contact point for hikers and bikers is located on the southern border of Hamburg to Lower Saxony in the middle of the state forest Rosengarten in the Black Mountains (northern foothills of the Harburger mountains) in the south-southeast of the hamburg district Neugraben-Fischbek.

To marvel there is unfortunately no vision of the landscape at a short rest - but a Gemarkungsstein with inscription and wooden cross.

Great that there is even a summit book 👍 but no resting place.

This is the highest natural elevation of Hamburg. Unfortunately, you do not have a great view here as from other mountains.

The highest mountain of the Hanseatic city Hamburg is the Hasselbrack with 116 m height which lies in the black mountains.
Due to the environmental protection no sign or marking points the way there. Here breed rare birds.
If you want Hasselbrack, you should switch on Komoot or pack a good map with a compass.

In the small tin box is a summit book, in which one can register. In addition, nice people also like to have a cereal bar there.
