Lüneburg: Untere Ohlingerstrasse

The Ohlingertrasse runs across the craft district. It is divided into Upper and Lower Ohlingerstrasse. The division takes place at the corner "Auf der Altstadt". This section lies between "Auf dem Meere" and "Auf der Aldstadt". A prime example of what residents have done to save this neighborhood from the wrecking ball. We are also in the middle of the subsidence area. The city is now contributing to conservation, but it wasn't always that way.
For cyclists: This whole district has head-pavement and only narrow footpaths. The one-way regulation can sometimes lead to driving in the opposite direction. Be careful. It is quite possible to cruise in this area.
