The magnificent Berlin Cathedral is considered one of the most important Protestant churches in Germany. He stands on the Museum Island, directly opposite the former city palace. There were already two predecessor churches on the site, but they were demolished in favor of the magnificent building at the end of the 19th century. Despite its ancient appearance, the foundation stone of the cathedral was not laid until 1894.
Today you can visit the cathedral daily. Especially beautiful is the view, which you can enjoy on the circuit around the dome.
