The spectacular cliffs form here at their highest point the summit of the Huthberg with 604,8m above sea level. N. N. The view towards Okertal is breathtaking, especially at sunset. If you look closely, you can see the "old man from the mountains" - a part of the kaesteklippen that resembles exactly the sunken face of an old man.

Not only enjoy the first view - absolutely still looking for the way to the platform, because there is the view even better!

The visit of the "Old Man", as the Kästeklippe is also called, is almost an obligation on this wonderful tour. The Kästeklippe looks like an old man. The face is clearly visible. Eyes, nose and even the mouth are visible.
The view into the Okertal an unforgettable experience.
Just follow the path and signs from the "Kästehaus".

You have to scramble a bit to get to the old one from the mountains. But you will be rewarded with a nice spot for a rest.

A picnic bench is available, you have a fantastic view. Incidentally, the stamp office can be found at the bottom of the restaurant.

The short way from the Kästehaus there is worthwhile. You will be rewarded not only with a great view of the Okertal, but also with this quirky rock formation 🙂
