Well hidden in the forest of the Harz National Park lies the wolf cliff. This place shines with its atmosphere, especially in light fog. The stamp office is a bit removed from the observation tower. In spite of everything, you should climb this tower, even if the view is not so far off. The tower is located east of the stamp box.
The Wolfsklippe (723 m above sea level) is located between Ilsenburg and Schierke in the Harz National Park.On the highest point of the cliff is a steel lookout tower built in 1901 by the Harz Club. The stamp office is located below the cliff, about 100 meters away on Alexanderstieg. From there you can continue the stamping tour to Ferdinand stone HWN 16, which is about 1.6 km away, or via the Huyseburger hay path to the HWN 25 forester's monument.
