It is in the middle of the city, but really nice.

The Orangery Palace was built as a greenhouse with summerly lounges from 1701 to 1711 for Landgrave Karl and his wife Maria Amalia. Home to the Planetarium and the Astronomical-Physical Cabinet; A marble bath presents numerous marble paintings and in the Fuldaaue between 1701 and 1710 a small Lusthaus built by William IV (reigned 1567-1592) was replaced by the construction of a larger Orangery Palace.
    Right on the bike path.
Opening hours Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm; Thursdays from 10 to 20 o'clock.

The park Karlsaue is a beautiful park in the middle of the city, as big as the Principality of Monaco. Of course not for cycling but walk. The Documenta is now in Kassel for 100 days. There are several outdoor works to admire there.
Kassel is always worth a trip

But what does that have to do with a bike highlight? Cycling is prohibited in Kassel's parks.
