Combe Martin beach is set in a picturesque location just below the village. It is surrounded by some of the highest sea cliffs in England and is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beach itself is a mixture of shingle and pebbles but gets sandier as you approach the water. It is a great spot for swimming as its sheltered position offers protection from stronger currents and waves. However, there is no lifeguard so care should be taken.
