As in some places in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, the rock formation also arouses awe here. In addition to the size of this cave you act as a human being in the face of nature.

The round past the Gautschgrotte and Diebshöhle offers more peace than the busy Brandstraße. Nevertheless, I recommend all hikers to extend the tour until the fire. It is not for nothing that the fire is called the balcony of the Saxon Switzerland, and there are many different views beyond the Elbe Valley.
In the cozy Brandbaude you can also strengthen for the way back.

In case of long frost it is absolutely worth a trip as the icicles form nicely

Not far from Malerweg is the Gautschgrotte. The visit is definitely worth it. With a flashlight you can also get into this cave.
