Framed by the high rocks, just above the Amselsee, the Grünbach falls as a blackbird fall a few meters into the depths. Directly next to it you will find the blackbird house. Not only does it provide food for hungry hikers, it also offers an exhibition about the flora and fauna of the national park.

The kitchen closes quite early in the afternoon, so if you want to grab your portion of Wurst and Pommes, make sure to come fairly early. The little waterfall is a nice gimmick.

Unfortunately, the blackbird is currently without water (because of the drought).
In the Baude is a catering facility and in the upper floor an exhibition of the National Park Administration

Very idyllic and pleasantly cool in warm weather near the waterfall

Perfect to take a break right in the garden at the waterfall.

In the early morning hours, the visit to the Amsel Falls is worthwhile, as there are no visitors. Mostly crowded in the midday hours.

Currently everything scaffolded - when everything is restored, again determines a hiking highlight

The waterfall runs for a fee of 20 cents, payable at the kiosk box office.

We like to be here in winter. Looks great when the waterfall is frozen.

Summer 2019: The site of the blackbird house is secured with scaffolding due to the danger of falling rocks. Passage is possible.

Great waterfall, which is dammed at low water and drained again and again for a few minutes. Class acting
