Hiking Highlight
The Saxon Switzerland National Park region is thus largely subject to state protection. The aim of the national park is to minimize human impact and largely prevent land use. A well-developed network of trails makes hikes and bike tours possible, so that the national park also serves as a recreation area.
However, Saxon Switzerland is not a restricted area. The rules of conduct are explained on the boards in several languages in order to also inform international guests.
Here you can see a stone with the note that it is a national park. Behind it are various information boards on which information about the Saxon Switzerland National Park can be found in many different languages.
