From here you have a fantastic view over the Lahn, the bike and hiking trail with a great view.

Great view over the Lahn valley. From there it goes down a steep path into the Ansbach valley.

The "vantage point" was unfortunately wrongly located here 😒 It is located right up on the mountain directly on the "Lahn-Camino" or on the "Lahnhöhenweg" and not on the steep slope!

Watch out! On the one hand, there is the upper vantage point with a bench on the way out of the Ansbach valley and leading along the edge of the field to Runkel (or vice versa), i.e. running at the same height. However, if you walk down a path to the right from the upper vantage point through the forest to the road to get to the Lahn, you will come across another, small "lower" vantage point at a hairpin, which is not official.
From the field behind the upper vantage point, you have a first view of Burg Runkel and Burg Schadeck.

A nice place to rest and enjoy with a view over the Lahntal to the Hochtaunus.
