The wild and romantic Höllental with the viewpoints King David and Hirschsprung is one of the "hiking hotspots" in the Franconian Forest. Here you are spoiled for choice when it comes to hiking trails. A beautiful, shady bike path leads along the Selbitz, between Blechschmiedenhammer and Hölle. In Hölle, hikers and cyclists can fortify themselves at the Höllensprudel spring and in Höllental there is the Höllenthal hydropower plant with its 36 meter high water fountain.

The route through the Höllental is not too long, but it is very scenic.
