Hiking Highlight
The Teufelsloch walls - the big and small Teufelsloch - between Krögelstein and Freienfels lie in a side valley on the state road St 2191. The two caves are made of massive dolomite, the larger one has a 26 m long, passable column corridor with leaching forms. In the smaller cave an early postglacial small fauna and animal cuts were found.
Several interesting rocks (also climbing) and caves
The Teufelsloch is somewhat hidden behind a climbing rock made of dolomite, which is often heavily frequented.
Great natural spectacle. Ideal for photos.
