Castle Dalberg, also called Dalburg, is the ruin of a hilltop castle in the valley of the Gräfenbachs, which flows into the Nahe via the Ellerbach near Bad Kreuznach. In 1150 Godebold von Weyersbach built the Dalburg. Already in the 14th century the original family of builders died out. The inheritance came to Johann Kämmerer von Worms. Even today you can see in the coat of arms of Dalberg both the anchor cross of Dalberger and the lilies of the treasurer of Worms. The castle was never destroyed by the action of war. In the 19th century, it was abused as a quarry and fell into ruin.
