Burgunderturm (Aussichtsturm)

Since the topping-out ceremony in September 2011, you can climb up a new Wingertsturm with an observation deck and enjoy the impressive view over Tuscany, the Rhine-Hessian region. It is modeled on the vineyard storms in Burgundy and is a sign of the 25-year partnership with the French municipality of Arnay-le-Duc. The "Burgunderturm" is located in the vineyard Kachelberg towards Rommersheim.

The three-storey construction of the round tower measures a total height of 15 meters. Visitors can let their gaze wander over the Rhenish Hessian landscape at a height of eight meters on the upper, open observation plateau.

We came here on the Hiwweltour Neuborn, you should definitely treat yourself to the few steps to enjoy the view over the Rheinhessis vineyards. Of course, this tower is particularly striking due to its color.

I had planned a vineyard tower tour and I have to say that it is probably the most beautiful vineyard tower in Albig, Ensheim and Spiesheim
