Tips

  • Witwe Bolte

On the eastern slope of the dry valley at 367.5 m above sea level is the Brunnholzhöhle (cave cadastre C 199); it was measured in September 2012 and tectonically recorded. The rock wall of the Brunnholzhöhle, built up of Malm-Beta reef limestones, is severed by a few Erzgebirge stroking clefts. In the rear part of the altogether 18.6 m long cave dominate Rhenish stroking rifts, which also caused the plant of this former spring cave causally. The Brunnholzhöhle also represents a fossil karst water outflow.
