Heimberg Schloßböckelheim

The Heimberg is a great hiking destination. At the top you can climb the Heimberg tower and enjoy a great view.

The Heimberg is a former volcano that got in the way of the Nahe and forced them to turn south.
You have a view of two more volcanoes, the Gangelsberg opposite and Lemberg behind it, with its wonderful caldera, the Silbersee.
You can see the Heimbergturm from afar and enjoy a great panoramic view from there. The tower is quite massive, but the steps are open, so there is a slight risk of vertigo.
