The Keystone is a remnant of days gone by. Unfortunately, the history books are silent about the history of the place. Probably the castle was built in the second half of the 12th century and had a comparatively short life span. How the castle was destroyed exactly remains a mystery. What remains undisputed is the magnificent view of Ebermannstadt.

A must, if you do the Waller waiting. Here you have a wonderful view of Ebermannstadt and Forchheim.

The key stone already has a special view, so at the end of the track.

A long look into the country rewards the MTB driver who has driven over the Stichweg to the Keystone. On the branch path are some nice waves to master.

At 489m above sea level you have a wonderful view directly over Ebermannstadt. You should definitely take it with you when you are at the Wallerwarte.
