The castle of Herrnsheim goes back to a castle built in 1460. From 1711 a baroque castle was built, which was heavily damaged in 1792. From the ruins of today's castle in the Empire style to plans by the Mannheim architect Jakob Friedrich Dyckerhoff was built. In 1840 it was changed again. It is one of the most outstanding Empire castles in Rhineland-Palatinate and you can even marry in the castle, the very well-kept park in the style of an English garden provides the perfect background for the wedding photos 👰🎩.
