The village Düsselbach is a district of the Middle Franconian community Vorra. In a document from 1356 one finds the place as "Distelbach". Many years earlier, the bailiwick Hersbruck should have had a fief here, but so far could not be proved. The nursing home Hersbruck was then responsible for Düsselbach. By 1500 there were twelve estates on the "Distelbach", today there are about 35. Until the municipal reform a district of Alfalter, Düsselbach was incorporated in 1972 along with its main town to Vorra. Here runs the Pegnitztal - cycle path along and there is a canoe landing on Ortrand.
