  • Euphemia Anna 🌳🌲

This path zigzags from the district of Grethen-Hausen over several steep stairs (some with handrails) quite steeply up to Limburg.
The path is named after Jakob Bößler, a blind violinist who regularly walked this route alone from his apartment in Hausen to Limburg.
Jakob Bößler (born November 14, 1862 in Grethen) went blind at the age of 3. After attending elementary school, he traveled the world with his violin and poodle for many decades. He played everything by ear. - His wife was also blind. They had two sons together. In the present documents, in honor of this special man, it is mentioned that the then Reich Chancellor Dr. Hans Luther (Chancellor from January 1925 to May 1926) shook his hand.
