Beautiful rock formation (sandstone monolith), the bowl stone, which is well worth seeing, is a popular photo motif.

Some idiots scratch something in the sandstone or ride a bike up there, humanity is visibly becoming stupid.

The Schüsselstein is a sandstone monolith and is located about two kilometers north of Fischbach near Nuremberg. The rock is designated as geotope 574R005 [1] and as a ground monument [2].

The Schüsselstein is a large sandstone monolith in the Middle Franconian Basin. The dimensions of the rock are about ten meters in length and width and about five meters in height. There are smaller caves in the rock and several bowl-like depressions. The name of the rock comes from its bowl-shaped depressions, which are partially filled with water after rain.
