PWV hut is actually called "Am Schmalstein". It is open on Wednesdays and Sundays and offers the usual hearty offers and delicious home-baked cakes in addition to a daily special. The prices for it are quite favorable to call. It can be fully recommended.

Gorgeous secluded hut, with very delicious Palatinate specialties. The "white cheese" with fried potatoes is a poem. The prices are moderate, please stop by! As an additional highlight we had a summer spritzer today: Weissherbst with Schweppes Wild Berry, ice, lime and mint. Delicious

The PWV hut "Am Schmalstein" offers a cozy rest stop in a beautiful location in the southern part of the Dahner Felsenland near Bruchweiler. The hut can be reached by car or MTB. During a hike on the premium path "Napoleonsteig" the hikers are "passed by".

    Great location!
From Bruchweiler from a more leisurely tour (also suitable for example for older people / children), but it can also be combined with other walks with a detour to the PWV hut. There are all kinds of Palatine specialties, as well as other hearty huts. Inexpensive and delicious, the playground with adjoining forest is a highlight for children.
Check the opening hours on the internet first, because on some days the hut is closed!
