The Dennenloher See is definitely worth a visit in the summer, because it enchants not only with its location in beautiful nature, but also with the offer of activities on the lake and gastronomy.

Around the lake there is a beautiful forest that provides cool shade on hot days when cycling. On the lake itself, the large lawns on the shore invite you for a swim break, where you can relax in the grass and cool off in the fresh water. To satisfy the small or big hunger, there is a kiosk and several restaurants on the lake.

"Unlike the larger lakes in the group, the lake is not used to supply the North Bavarian water shortage through the Danube-Main Reconciliation.
Since the commissioning of Altmühlsee and Klein Brombachsee the Dennenloher See is less frequented. It is interesting for anglers and hikers. On the shore is a campsite.
The lake is located on the Limesweg of the Franconian Albverein, a section of the German Limes Trail. "
