Einkorn is a 510 m high western mountain spur of the northern Limpurger mountains near Hessental. On it stands the ruins of a Baroque pilgrimage church to the Fourteen Helpers. The fourteen helpers are fourteen saints from the second to the fourth century. The group consists of the so-called Regensburger normal series of three female and eleven male saints, all except for the hl. Aegidius died as a martyr. Deviating from this there are regional variants. In the Catholic Church, the emergency helpers are called in prayer as a protective patron. In the Protestant church they are generally considered role models in the faith. The single-tower with its high concrete base and wooden construction is today a major attraction point of the mountain. From the top you have a wide view over the Haller and Hohenloher level and down to the Kocher valley. A few steps away there is also a barbecue area, a children's playground and a restaurant with beer garden.
