Up to 100 meters deep is the gorge, through which the Great Ohe plunges over cascades and swirl holes into the valley. On her way she leaves an ideal habitat for the diverse and special flora that can be observed here.Good footwear and sure-footedness are a must for the ascent of the gorge. It is not suitable for pushchairs, bicycles and wheelchairs. The gorge is accessible from May to October.

A great hike along the Steinklamm. Look for glass stones by the water.

    A great trip.
Beautiful paths great landscape. Sturdy footwear required otherwise but easy to handle. Also our youngest (7 years) was thrilled.

Be careful with the start / end parking lot. The 1st reachable parking lot (after the Sparkasse) belongs to a medical center and it can ever be tight (with the place or the friendliness). Continue for a few meters and go back uphill (if the tour should not immediately lead to the gorge).

The gorge is worthwhile in any case, but it is recommended to go from the bottom up.

Nice hike along the big Ohe. A better view of the gorge and the stream you have when you walk from the bottom up; is more exhausting, but it's worth it. When wet, the path through the many roots quickly slippery, as is stable footwear of advantage.
