During the post-war period, a shanty village for refugees was housed on the Eninger pasture. This settlement consisted of residential barracks and a small shop.
Today only the gate is at the entrance. Therefore, the Eninger pasture now belongs to the biosphere area of the Swabian Alb and attracts with great nature and a deer enclosure. Nearby is a hiking center of the Swabian Albverein and invites you to linger. From here, many interesting hiking destinations can be accessed.
