The large Oberföhringer weir was built from 1920 to 1924 in the Grüntal in Oberföhring. The dam Oberföhring is a weir on the Isar in the north of Munich and at the same time the inlet structure of the Mittler Isar Canal. The weir connects the northern part of the English Garden with Oberföhring.
If you use along the Isar along the bike path to reach over the dam the English Garden, a great tour.

Always a highlight, if you are traveling in the north on the Isar.

Great view from the weir on the Isar. Ideal point to change the Isar side

Nice view of the Isar. The weir is also great to watch. However, the upside down side is nicer because there are not so many graffiti here.
