The cityscape of Breisach is primarily characterized by the Stephansmünster. Located on the Münsterberg, it is visible from afar. The view of Alsace and the Black Forest is best enjoyed from up there.

Directly behind the cathedral is the historic center of Breisach. In the lower town are the well-known sparkling wine Geldermann. As part of a guided tour with sparkling wine tasting you can descend into the vaults of the private winery. Guided tours take place Mondays to Saturdays at 2pm (without registration). From March to October also on Sundays. The guided tour including tasting takes about 1 hour and costs 5 € per person.

Neuf Breisach on the other side is also worth seeing. And quickly reachable by bus or bike.
