The Schauinsland is navigable from different sides, the northwest slope of Günterstal is the most relaxed. There is a bit steeper part at the beginning, but after that the climb is very feasible.
Unusual times are ideal for little traffic. At the weekend (not on Friday!) The mountain is closed to motorcyclists, but not everyone adheres to it.
In summer there is the so-called "Schauinslandkönig", a race up to the Schauinsland.

    Ascent cap 12 km long.
The first km steep from the Bohrer junction, then moderately to the Gießhübel junction, the last 3km flatter.

A must for all cyclists interested in sports. Relatively quiet street, well developed and except for the lower part with a moderate slope.
