Frauenkopf

A beautiful round hike: Forsthaus Wartenfels, (924), Schober (1328), Schober hut, Frauenkopf (1303), and back to the parking lot. When wet, it could be dangerous. See note below: "HEAVY" only for experienced people!

Beautiful foresight from the woman's head

The woman's head is the secondary summit of the Schober. In contrast to the main summit, the woman's head is a completely bare rocky peak. Without trees or plants, from which the view could be blocked, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Mondsee and Fuschlsee.

In contrast to the Schober, the Fuschlsee can be seen completely.
By the way, there is a bench at the summit.

Not too long but crisp climb to the Schober summit. Great view. Descent over the woman's head. A wonderful tour. Fitness and a head for heights are in demand here and good footwear. There are a few exposed spots that are well secured with ropes.

I advise against the descent over the Frauenkopf because of the very bad path. Lots of loose rock and rubble.
