Hochalm Gipfel

Beautiful big meadow at the summit cross. Very beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding peaks and in Isar Valley.

Great tour for the fall and winter, through the south-side ascent you have plenty of sun. There is often fog down there, while the sun is shining up here

The summit of the Hochalm is, as the name implies, like a small alpine pasture, rather a large meadow, where there is plenty of space and seating for a nice snack. And to all this, from here you have a great view of the Isar Valley.

The summit is often well visited. There are some benches and a great view of the Zugspitze.

How bad is that ???

As already described beautiful climb on the south side in the late autumn or early winter to commit well.

Relatively flat, gated and large summit area, which invites almost for a longer break with enjoyment of the great all-round view.

Bring snacks, start early, enjoy the climb

Portions require expertise - steep climb, I wouldn’t do it on wet conditions. Bring snacks & plenty of water, sandwiches : for your party & to share ( be a hero! )
