Hallstätter See

Lake Hallstatt is spectacular for cycling due to its partly steep banks. It is also worthwhile to turn the bike off and rest at one of the many beach resorts on the lake. Most of them are free, perfect for a quick stopover and refreshment in the crystal clear waters of the lake.
