Stunning scenery, slope very good to drive, not too steep. The descent from Ahornboden to Vorderriss is awesome. On nice weekends not to be recommended, as tw. heavy traffic.

  • Brilliant road with outstanding landscape. In the direction of Ahornboden it is always uphill with small hills which you can push through but relatively easy. On the way back you can let it really crack.

Great mountain panorama, only on the cows you have to pay attention ☺️

Although it does not look like that, the last few kilometers have reached the 3% gradient. So do not be surprised if you do not seem to progress anymore. In addition, the entire route is perfectly suited for the road bike. Hardly potholes and relatively wide, smooth asphalt in a beautiful landscape. As I think an absolute must.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about on the road surface. A dream.

You do not really have to write anything about that. Scenic unbeatable, some refreshments, steady but moderate increase - to flatten e - bikes is all it takes ;-) Traffic can vary greatly. On Saturdays in June in good weather, for example, drove without any problems, on a fall Sunday, when half Munich for the first time in their lives wants to see red Ahörner better avoid.

Great scenery. You can see this track as a driveway but it is actually not that steep. Well paved, and easy to drive.

There is nothing to add to the comments already made.

absolutely beautiful route. A dream in both directions. 25 km uphill with almost even slope is the top to drive. Downhill for every racing cyclist simply pure pleasure. And then the paradise landscape. Not to be described in words.

The head of the valley brings back memories of the Canadian wilderness.
Very worthwhile to take a few light hiking boots and go at the end of the asphalt road a bit towards the end of the valley.
