A breathtaking lake with many fantastic impressions. He also did not seem to be as overcrowded as other lakes.
In every direction you have a beautiful view of the mountains.
To get there there are some rules:
The road to Vilsalpsee is closed between 10am and 5pm for general traffic. Exception: buses, handicapped persons from 70%, persons in charge (eg agriculture and forestry). Anyone who has driven to the Vilsalpsee by car before 10 o'clock may return at any time.
Until 10 o'clock you can drive to the paid parking lot at Vilsalpsee. Later you have to park on the pay parking P1, P2 and P3 in Tannheim.
It is generally not allowed to park vehicles along or off roads and paths!
How else to get to Vilsalpsee?
By bus from P1 and P2 and stops in the village according to timetable
By coach - Information: Fam. Kleiner 0043 (0) 5675/6550
With the Tannheimer Alpen Express - from tourist information in Tannheim
Of course on foot and in winter also on the cross-country skis (From P1, P2 and P3 the distance is about 4 kilometers - a walk of about 1 hour.)
A trip there is worthwhile in any case!
