It's so nice that you do not even notice how it goes up steadily. If you start very early, no one cashes admission :-)

We started off the riffle over the Höllentalangerhütte. It is nice but very far. Can not understand how people with small children do this tour.

The Höllentalklamm near Grainau, district Hammersbach, is a real experience. It goes quite uphill before reaching the entrance of the gorge. Through the unique gorge with its many waterfalls, small tunnels and corridors that are lit, the nature lover will find an unforgettable natural spectacle. In the snow-free time around mid-May to late October, the gorge is open 24 hours a day. Please do not forget the appropriate clothing, because it is a pretty wet matter in the gorge and even in summer the temperatures are sometimes cool. The Höllentalanger hut at 1387 m altitude then invites you to stop. You can also spend the night here and there are drying rooms for your clothes, should it get too wet. From the Höllentalangerhütte further climbs such. on the Alpspitze or the Matheisenkar or even on the Zugspitze möglich.Der entry into the Höllentalklamm currently costs: For DAV members adults: € 2.00

The Höllentalklamm is very beautiful, the ascent to the Höllentaleingasng hut, however exhausting and sweaty. For Alpine Club members there is a discounted entry.

Pay attention to the entrance fee. Whether this is justified, everyone must decide for themselves. In my opinion worth a visit. However, it drips from the ceiling, so who is sensitive to it: put on rain jacket.

The roar of the water masses, these primeval forces that have washed this gorge into the rocks in millions of years is overwhelming.
