Coburger Hütte 1920m

The Coburger Hütte (1,917m) is located in a high valley near the idyllic Seebensee and the higher lying Drachensee. The view over the lake Seebensee to the Zugspitze massif and the summits Sonnenspitze, Drachenkopf, Marienbergspitze, Grünstein, Tajakopf and the Griesspitzen is unique. Fantastic mountain scenery.

However, the coffee on the hut was cruel - with Nescafe touched with hot water ... bahhh ... :-( If the landlady had warned me, I would have preferred to keep my hands off it.

Fantastic views towards the Zugspitze massif, a nice stopover on the way further up. A good starting point also for climbers.

Beautifully situated hut. Very attentive staff ... my dogs had their water in front of me :-) and all around a mad view

Alpine club hut in a fantastic location on the Drachensee. Well managed and organized. Starting point for various tours, for example on the Drachenkopf or the Tajakopf. We hiked from the hut over the Grünsteinscharte (brilliant ascent) into the Gurgltal - also highly recommended.

Very nicely situated hut in a dreamlike setting. On Sundays, however, absolutely crowded.
