The Marlinger Waal is with about 12 km the longest Waal South Tyrol. It was built 250 years ago and is still in operation today. Starting from Töll the Marliner Waal leads up to Oberlana. A beautiful hiking trail with great views of Merano without large differences in height and therefore ideal for children. And it's exciting. There is something new to discover behind every turn.

Very easy to walk, also suitable for older people. in the middle part many Buschenschänke, which characterize with the character of the way :-). Even juice and fruit is offered for self-service against gernol obolus.

The Marling Waalweg leads from the hydroelectric power plant on the Töll to Lana and is about 15 km long. The most beautiful part from my point of view are the first 3-4 km, on which the trail meanders above very steep rocky terrain. Pathways inlaid with pathways embedded in bridges, steep cross-country cuts and sometimes striking views of the valley in between make the ascent an interesting experience.

Castel Lebenberg - great tip! The castle tour is really worthwhile and the view from the castle is terrific.
