Hiking Highlight (Segment)
The Schluchtweg is a wildly romantic, steep trail that leads to the Tauern pond. It covers 400 meters of altitude over a length of 1.6 km - especially on hot days an insider tip!
Fine little tour, as always shady and varied.
Absolutely nothing for beginners! Extremely steep, sometimes very slippery and steps of at least 50cm high are normal for 80% of the ascent!
For that you are in another world and rewarded by a landscape that is not of this world!
Please use parking in Rappitsch am Fischer Stüberl. As very difficult I would not rate the route, but it would also recommend only upwards (not at all in the rain) and go as a descent on Ossiach, visit the pen Ossiach and definitely lick a ball of rice cakes in Café Candis.
