Most fun to cycle downhill from Tarvisio to Venzone.

The most spectacular railway path in Europe with artificial structures without end. The railway line from Villach to Udine was redrawn in the 1990s because of earthquake danger, to a large extent in the tunnel, the old railway line was converted with EU funding to the bike path. Is alone worth a trip.
