From Roli - The Forcola di Livigno connects the Italian customs free zone of Livigno with the Valle di Poschiavo in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The road crossing Passo Forcola is one of only three accesses to the Valle di Livigno. The other two variants run from Bormio via the Passo Foscagno and the Passo d'Eira or from the Ofenpass road through the Munt la Schera tunnel at the northern end of Lake Livigno to the winter sports resort.
The driveways to Forcola di Livigno are very different. On the Italian side, from Livigno, you have to negotiate 450 Hm over almost twelve kilometers, while the Swiss ramp has a difference in altitude of 261 m over 3.5 km. From Graubünden you can either get from the Passo del Bernina and thus from the Engadin or you have the long journey from Tirano (450 m altitude) behind you.
In addition to the already mentioned combination possibilities, the beautiful road to Passo Torri di Fraele is also nearby.
